Sharing many parts with the CX500 Turbo introduced the same model year, the Eurosport features air assisted front forks with anti-dive mechanism and air assisted prolink single shock rear suspension. The wheels are also modified, with an 18-inch-diameter (460 mm) restyled round hole comstar front with a 100–90H18 tyre, whilst on the rear is a The second digit tells which year the engine (or frame) was made - starting with "0" the first year of the model´s life (1978 for the standard model). "3" indicates the fourth year / 1981. So - CX500E-2 3 04910 would be a pretty early 1981 standard model CX 500 engine. The frame number is more difficult.
In 1983, both versions of the V-twin were bumped to 650 cc. Otherwise, the 1983 Honda CX650T motorcycle was mostly a carryover from the CX500 Turbo, although the color scheme was changed from pearlescent eggshell with red and black accents to the pearlescent white with red and blue trim as shown on our featured bike.
