I feel Season 7 is the worst written season of Game of Thrones. I'm with you on that. I think S8 leaves a more bitter taste for people because it's the end. It'll be the lasting impression. And because of the more obvious stuff like Dany burning the city, White Walkers being killed off, Bran becoming King.
It's not just season 8, it uses season 7 AND 8 to make one 10-episode final season, with the finale being movie length. It doesn't just try to improve the ending of Thrones, it very much succeeds. The overall pitch is that it deals with the war with Cersei first, and then the War for the Dawn is the climax, rather than the other way around
The reviews for Game of throne’s final episodes on IMDb are ridiculous it was not that bad. The final season of Game of thrones wasn’t bad at all. In fact “the long night” may be one of the greatest episodes in television history. The ending was good and made sense no it wasn’t great but it was good.
