The Emirates A380 has 76 business class seats in a 1-2-1 arrangement, giving each guest direct aisle access. These seats have a pitch of 48 inches, a bed length of 76 inches, and an 18.5-inch width. Newer Boeing 777 seats will have a 2-2-2 layout instead of the cramped 2-3-2 it currently has.
Business class is set to be improved when the 777X is introduced. Emirates will install a new business class product on this, based on the A380 product rather than the dated 777 one. Emirates makes it to fourth in the World Airlines Awards for business class in 2019, due mainly to its excellent A380 product. Here’s a comparison of the two products. Qatar Airways still offers first class aboard its A380-800 aircraft. Thus far, Qsuite Business Class is only available onboard its 777-300ERs. I’ll be comparing a flight from Doha to Paris aboard the A380 in first class with the flight from New York to Doha aboard the 777 in Qsuite Business Class. The 70 Business Class Studios, which I have also reviewed are set in a 1-2-1 configuration, are located on the upper deck of the A380, behind First Class on this Etihad Airways’ Airbus A380. The First Class cabin has 9 First Apartments in total: 5 with a rear-facing seat (1H, 3A, 3K, 5C & 5H) and 4 with a forward-facing seat (2C, 2H, 4A & 4K).
World's best Business Class: Qatar Airways Qsuite A350 from Frankfurt to Doha (AMAZING!) Chauffeur service: Emirates offers complimentary chauffeur-driven airport transfers for its Business Class passengers across the globe, while Etihad Airways only offers chauffeur transfers to/from Abu Dhabi airport.
